Priley Riley, Lino prints 2, 10th February 2014

I spent my day producing 13 lino prints using a hydraulic press. For the print shown at the top, I used a technique that I hadn’t tried before called reductive printing. This is a process where, after each print has been made, the artist cuts into the lino block further before printing over the top of the previous print in a different colour. This is how I made the hood of the jumper orange.
