I attended a lecture this
morning on painting as a multidisciplinary practice and was fascinated by the
enthusiasm of the lecturer, which could be seen in the way he looked, spoke,
moved his arms and made different hand gestures. So I got out my sketchbook and
as well as making notes on what the lecturer said, I tried to capture the
enthusiasm that he showed whilst saying it. The drawing that I produced is in
pencil and was drawn over the two hours there in between my note-making.
