As my current artwork is inspired by bearded dragons, I plan to share experiences showing my interest in dragons and lizards more generally. I hope this will provide additional context on my interests and artwork.

In 2019 my husband and I visited some of the Canary Islands- Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and El Hierro. Our favourite was El Hierro- it was here that we saw the critically endangered El Hierro Giant Lizard at the Ecomuseo de Guinea y Lagartario. There are around 400 of these lizards in the wild.

Sharing some photos I took on a walk in East Grinstead yesterday.

I believe the photos capture a Large Skipper butterfly with grasshopper, Meadow Brown butterfly, and Blue-tailed damselflies.

These prints depict the bearded dragon head side-on.

I particularly appreciate with lino printing the ability to create multiple artworks from the same matrix.
