As my current artwork is inspired by bearded dragons, I plan to share experiences showing my interest in dragons and lizards more generally. I hope this will provide additional context on my interests and artwork.
In 2019 my husband and I visited some of the Canary Islands- Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and El Hierro. Our favourite was El Hierro- it was here that we saw the critically endangered El Hierro Giant Lizard at the Ecomuseo de Guinea y Lagartario. There are around 400 of these lizards in the wild.
