I attended a four hour life drawing class today where I
produced a series of pencil drawings in a new A4 sketchbook. The two photos
above are examples of what I did today (I spent 15 minutes on each of the
pieces shown) and the photos below show life drawings that I did in 2011 as a
contrast. The three pieces with a single figure on a page were sustained poses,
and the piece with three women overlapping on one page was done in a total of
15 minutes (so I spent just 5 minutes on each drawing). All of the drawings below
were done on A1 paper, and the media used include; charcoal, chalk, acrylic
paint and soft pastels.
